During my final two years of school, I was part of a team assembling a microlight. The team consisted of students from two schools and experienced aeronautical engineers. Throughout this build, I gained valuable experience in interpreting and working with industry-standard engineering drawings and manuals, while collaborating effectively as a member of a diverse team under constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic ultimately contributing to the successful construction of a functional two-seater aircraft.
